Russian cosmonauts grow wheat, peas and greens aboard the ISS

Russian cosmonauts have reportedly grown and harvested wheat, peas and greens aboard the International Space Station.

According to a RIA Novosti report:

A variety of crops have been successfully harvested on board the International Space Station and verified as safe to eat, a Russian scientist said Wednesday.
